Business and professional two-way radios
This is the full Dateck Solutions two-way radio catalogue: portable and mobile radios from Motorola Solutions, Kenwood, Icom and Vertex Standard, shown first, followed by the batteries, chargers, earpieces, speaker microphones and antennas that keep a fleet running. It's built for the teams who actually buy radios by the handful — schools, contractors, property managers, restaurants, retail, golf courses, churches and event crews.
What two-way radios do we carry?
The range spans licence-free on-site radios through to licensed business band and network (WAVE PTX) models, plus the accessories that go with them:
- Motorola Solutions — the largest part of the range, including CLS, CLP, RM, RDX, DLR, DTR, CURVE, CP and MOTOTRBO CM mobile radios, plus TLK WAVE PTX models.
- Kenwood — ProTalk and NX series business radios, including intrinsically safe variants.
- Icom — the IC-F series of analogue and digital business portables.
- Vertex Standard — including the EVX-S24 compact digital radio and its accessories.
- Accessories — batteries, single and multi-unit chargers, surveillance and swivel earpieces, headsets, speaker microphones, holsters, antennas and programming cables.
- Multi-packs and bundles — 6-pack and 12-pack radio bundles with multi-unit chargers, headsets or speaker microphones for kitting out a whole team at once.
Selection changes as manufacturers update their lines, so if you can't find a specific model or part number, contact us and we'll help you source it.
How do I choose the right two-way radio?
Start with licensing. Licence-free on-site radios (such as the Motorola DLR, DTR and CLP families) are the quickest way to get a team talking inside a building or campus with no licence paperwork. Licensed business band radios give you more power and range for larger sites and outdoor work. WAVE PTX models such as the TLK series run over a cellular network instead of RF, so coverage follows the network rather than line of sight — useful when your team is spread across a city or several sites.
Then size the fleet. Count the people who need to talk, add spares, and decide whether you want single units or a multi-pack bundle with a multi-unit charger. Finally, pick audio to match the environment: a swivel earpiece or headset for noisy sites, a discreet surveillance earpiece for public-facing work, or a speaker microphone for people wearing the radio on a belt.
